Hi Pedro,

Thanks for the update. Don't forget that the efficiency corrections would apply to both signal and background, so in a sense they are simply equivalent to reduced statistics (provided that correction factors for signal and background are similar).

Cf. PYTHIA input, I'd suggest contacting the MC group and see if you simply can run GEANT on the PYTHIA output you generate.
