VIII DOSAR Workshop in Sao Paulo, September 23-26th, 2009

The Distributed Organization for Scientific and Academic Research (DOSAR) congregates institutions from the Southern part of the U.S. and from Latin America which are involved in the development of the Grid computing technology for the major High Energy Physics experiments.

The DOSAR Workshop series is an important instrument to improve the relationship among all groups and exchange information about the latest development in the different analysis centers.

This eighth workshop will be held at the new Center for Scientific Computing (Núcleo de Computação Científica, NCC) of São Paulo State University (UNESP). Our aim in this workshop is to discuss the extension of DOSAR activities beyond the High Energy Physics data processing. The relationship between DOSAR and GridUNESP cyberinfrastructures  should also be focused.
